| Hardy. Fast growing Tree Fern from Australia. Has bold, arching, lush green, lance-shaped fronds. A truly magnificent fern. Requires a moist, shady, sheltered spot. Protect crown in winter. Height 2-6m. Spread 4m. |

DICKSONIA ANTARCTICA SOFT TREE FERN
| Hardy. A mature specimen will reach 40ft. or more, but it is very slow growing (an inch or two a year). The fronds are stiff, dark green and can be up to 2m(6ft.) long. They die back in the winter and should be cut off in the spring as the new fronds begin to appear. It must be planted in a sheltered spot and protection must be given to the crown during winter frosts. |
