Enquiries and Orders. If you wish to order
plants please use our enquiry form.
We are unable to offer an export service.
Substitutions. We will only substitute
plants at your request. Where a plant ordered is not available we will
advise you.
Payment. Our standard terms are payment in
advance or on collection. We accept Visa and Mastercard. Cheques should be
made payable to 'Bentley Plants' and can only be accepted when
accompanied by a cheque card.
Mail order. We can arrange mail order
delivery. If the plant is in active growth it is usually necessary to use
a 24 hour delivery carrier and more sophisticated protective packaging;
this is a relatively expensive procedure. Dormant plants will tolerate
longer periods in transit and the charges are thus greatly reduced.
If you wish us to send a plant by mail please contact us to discuss
arrangements. Occasionally we are able to make our own deliveries. Please
use our enquiry form.
We are unable to dispatch orders until payment is received. We accept
Visa or Mastercard. Alternatively you may send a limited amount cheque,
i.e. leave the amount sections blank but write clearly across the top or
bottom of the cheque 'not to exceed £x.' Cheques payable to 'Bentley
Plants'.
Plants can only be dispatched when their condition and the weather
are appropriate. We will agree a method and timing of dispatch/delivery
convenient to you. Where some orders or parts of mixed orders may not be
immediately available, we will advise you of any delay. Where, due to
unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to meet an order then, subject
to your wishes, we will either make a refund or substitute other plants.
We intend that your order should arrive in good condition; if you
request a time or method of delivery which we do not recommend then this
must be at 'your own risk.'
Loss or Damage. If your order does not
arrive, is damaged or the plants are in poor condition, then you should
let us know straight away and in any case within 48 hours of delivery,
so we can investigate and make good any loss.
We cannot accept liability where delivery is delayed due to your
absence from the delivery address or where you delay collection from
a depot.
Complaints. Should you be dissatisfied in
any way with the service that we provide or with our plants, please
contact us immediately by telephone or e-mail.
